Russian Ministry Of Defense Reported That Village Of Zatishye Had Come Under Control Of Russian Army

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the settlement of Zatishye had come under the control of the Russian army.

Control over a village in the Zaporozhye region “as a result of active offensive actions” was established by units of the Vostok group of troops, it follows from the text of the summary of the progress of the “special military operation” published on the Telegram channel of the Russian defense department on Monday, November 24.

It is reported that operational-tactical aviation, attack unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of groups of troops of the Russian Armed Forces damaged the energy, transport and port infrastructure of Ukraine, used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, ammunition depots, as well as points of temporary deployment of enemy personnel in 152 regions.

345 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down by air defense systems, it follows from the text. “In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, the following have been destroyed: 668 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 98,278 unmanned aerial vehicles, 638 anti-aircraft missile systems, 26,216 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,619 combat vehicles of multiple launch rocket systems, 31,510 field artillery guns and mortars, 47,531 a unit of special military vehicle equipment,” the Russian Ministry of Defense says.

The transfer of Zatishya to the control of the Russian army “strengthened the position of the units of the Vostok group of forces and became an important step towards further advancement in this direction,” the department added.
