The Russian ship SB738 arrived in the zone of international exercises for the search, salvation and marine safety of the Casarex-2025, which will be held in the Caspian Sea. This was reported by the IRNA agency with reference to the press service of the Iran of the Army.
The arrived ship was met by the units of the Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The main stage of the exercises will begin after the completion of a series of coordination meetings in which representatives of the Naval Forces of Iran and Russia participate, as well as observers from the Caspian states.
Meetings are held on the basis of the Fourth Navy named after Imam Susa.
CASAREX-2025 are aimed at strengthening interaction between the naval forces of the Caspian Region countries and increasing the level of shipping and conducting rescue operations in the seas.
