A group of doctors appointed by the Georgian Ministry of Health, visited the former President Mikhail Saakashvili in the hospital of Gori, reports “News-Georgia.”
After transfer to the clinic from the Saakashvili prison hospital, said that he stops a hunger strike that lasted 50 days. His personal doctor Nicoloz Kipshidze noted that the process of restoring the body will take a long period.
After today’s visit, doctors said that Saakashvili began to eat according to a specific scheme. According to them, the state of health Mikhail Saakashvili improved, although he has “certain complaints”.
“We arrived to appreciate the clinical condition of the patient. The situation in the dynamics really improved, it is stable, the prepared and good team holds it absolutely adequate therapy,” the doctors reported.
