Former president of Georgia, Mikhail Saakashvili, may abandon the extradition to Ukraine, the lawyer Georgy Chiviashvili reported to journalists.
“Regarding the issue of extradition, Mikhail Saakashvili’s position in this matter is that he arrived in Georgia, to his homeland, and is going to lead a political struggle. Perhaps he will refuse extradition,” Chiviashvili said.
Recall, the interests of the former president of Georgia protect four lawyers, today they first saw Sakashvili in prison.
