Saakashvili was taken to a private clinic

A special penitentiary service of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia on Thursday transferred former President Mikhail Saakashvili from prison to the capital’s Vivamed Clinic for a medical examination, Mtavari Arch,

reports.

According to the channel, the ambulance, in which Saakashvili was located, left the prison of the city of Rustavi, accompanied by an enhanced convoy. In addition, security measures are strengthened in the clinic itself, in which the police and convoy services are on duty.

The ex-president will undergo an examination, and then treatment on the fifth floor of the building. How much time will the former Georgian leader in the clinic will stay and what examinations it will take place until it is specified.
