Chairman of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan Safar Mekhtiev today met with Israel’s ambassador to Azerbaijan George Diko.
The Department of Public Relations and the Press of the State Customs Committee reported that Safar Mekhtiev expressed satisfaction with the level of mutually beneficial cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel and expressed hope for the development of relations in the future.
Mekhtiev emphasized that the exchange of information and experience between the customs services of Azerbaijan and Israel play a special role in strengthening relations.
The head of the GTK noted that the reforms in the customs service of Azerbaijan created the conditions for increasing the transit and export potential of the country, as well as for the easy and quick implementation of international trade.
Ambassador George Dick, in turn, emphasized that Israel gives particular importance to cooperation with Azerbaijan in all areas. He spoke with satisfaction about the mutual cooperation of the customs authorities of the two countries, about the prospects of joint cooperation and emphasized the importance of further activation of relations.
