The speaker of the Milli Majiba Gafarov Millis on June 2 met with a visit to Azerbaijan to participate in the VII International Congress of Social Sciences ̇ncsos-Qarabağ Chairman of the Great National Assembly of Turkey Mustafoi Schentop. This was reported in the department for public relations and the press of Milli Majlis.
S. Gafarova expressed gratitude to the chairman of the Great National Assembly of Turkey for the initiative of this congress in Azerbaijan and the support provided. She brought to the attention that the conduct of such scientific events is extremely necessary from the point of view of the development of cooperation between universities and the scientific circles of the two countries.
The chairman of the Milli Majlis also emphasized that the theme of the 7th International Congress of Social Sciences is dedicated to Karabakh. S. Gafarova recalled that on June 15, another significant event will be celebrated – the first anniversary of the signing of the Shushinsky declaration of allied relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
M. Steppe expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani side for organizing this important event at a high level.
During the conversation, an exchange of views took place on other issues representing mutual interest.
