The implementation of the Dosta program of Karabakh and the Eastern Zangesura began. In the village of Agaly, the Zangilalan district in May of this year, with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev and the first Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, the first service point of Smart Dost was opened. The design work of the Shushinsky branch of Dost is also completed. The territories released from the occupation will be completely covered by Dost. This was announced at a meeting of the board of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection. Sakhil Babaev, Chairman of the College, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, emphasized that in accordance with the instruction of President Ilham Aliyev, work on organizing services to the population in accordance with the satisfaction of citizens, the expansion of the DOST services infrastructure throughout the country.
It was noted that since May 2019, 5 DOST centers have already been opened in the city of Baku and the Apheronsky district. 1 million 50 thousand citizens, including 360 thousand citizens for 7 months of the current year, took advantage of the services, and this year the satisfaction of citizens with these services amounted to 98.7 percent. In the coming months, another DOST center will open in Baku. Also, preparations are underway for the opening of DOST centers in Bard, Gub, Ganja, Sumgait, Saborybad, Masalla and a number of other regions. In total, until 2025, it is planned to open 17 regional DOST centers, DOST branches in 55 districts, service points “Smart Dost” in certain regions.
Dostst agency this year was awarded awards of European social services, awards of the International Association of Pensions and Social Funds, and three awards of the International Association of Social Security. DOST centers were awarded by the publication “European Report BUSINESS Environment 2021” as one of the three perfect reforms in Azerbaijan. In addition, the Center 142 for promptness and objectivity was awarded third place.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population took important steps to electronize services. Of the 175 services of the ministry, 110 are provided in electronic form, including 46-in-proactive order. Currently, the structure is working to create another 40 electronic services, bringing the number of electronic services to the ministry up to 150. This will achieve 90 percent of the level of electronizing services of the ministry.
In the seven months of this year, 142 million appeals were made for the ministry’s electronic services, and over 7.5 million appeals on the portal, E-Sosial.az. About 346 thousand electronic certificates were issued.
The State Agency for Medical and Social Examination and Rehabilitation for 7 months of 2022, a disability was established by the State Agency for 38,900 persons. During this period in the rehabilitation centers of the agency, 24000 people received rehabilitation services.
At the meeting, the issues of opening new Dosta centers and the implementation of the electronicization program, medical and social examination, rehabilitation, social support of vulnerable groups, training and upcoming tasks.
