A meeting of the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Sakhil Babayev was held with the head of the representative office of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Azerbaijan Ivan Fernandez Duarte, the term of which in our country ended, the ministry’s press service was reported.
The Minister spoke about the experience of cooperation between the EBRD and Azerbaijan. He brought to the attention that on the basis of the country’s strategy document covered 2019-2024, the Bank promotes economic diversification, support for the development of small and medium-sized businesses by I.T.D. Noting reforms in the field of labor, employment, social protection, S. Babayev informed about active employment measures, including work carried out in order to expand the coverage of the Self-employment program.
Highly appreciating the work done by I.F.Dourta during its activities in our country, the minister wished her success in further activities.
I.F.Dartarta noted, about good impressions about our country, she expressed confidence that the EBRD links with Azerbaijan will continue to continue to expand.
