In the Baku court on serious crimes, a preparatory court session was held in the criminal case of the former Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the population of Salim Muslimov.
According to haqqın.az, during a meeting held under the chairmanship of the judge Faig Ganiev, the questionnaire’s questionnaire data were clarified. The former minister himself told the court the necessary information.
, as a legal heir to the victim, was presented by the chief adviser to the Ministry of Finance Vusal Abbasov.
The defender of the former minister Aihan Rustamzade filed a lawsuit to the court on the closure of the court session. The defender associated this with the pedagogical activity of Salim Muslimov, professional and commercial secrets. The former minister and his other defender Togrul Veliev was asked about satisfying the petition.
The court did not satisfy the petition. The judge noted that there are no points in the case file that would concern professional activities or commercial secrets. According to him, at this stage there is no reason to close the process.
The court was appointed on August 15.
Recall, Salim Muslimov was arrested as a result of a special operation carried out by the SSB, he was charged under Articles 308.2 (abuse of official powers that entailed grave consequences), 311.3.2 and 311.3.3 (repeatedly received a large bribe). By a court decision against the ex-minister, a preventive measure in the form of arrest was elected.
Later he was released under house arrest.
