Sandu asked Biden to increase financial residue

Moldova President Maya Sandu asked, at a meeting with US President Joe Bayden in Warsaw, to increase financial assistance to the republic who is experiencing energy crisis.

“The Moldavian leader took advantage of the meeting to inform the US President about the difficulties in connection with the war on the borders and the need to increase assistance from the United States to strengthen the country’s economic stability,” the press service of the President of Moldova informs.

Sandu expressed gratitude to the United States for their help in overcoming the energy crisis, thanks to which the Moldavian government was able to partially compensate for low -income families to rise in price for gas, electricity and heating of housing.

The head of Moldova also noted that she was supposed to help the American government in the process of diversification of energy supply and strengthen the energy security of the republic.
