Sargsyan found perpetrators in parish of Pashinyan to power

For the coming to power, Nikola Pashinian are responsible for the people who supported him and voted for him. Such a statement made ex-president of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, speaking at the congress of the Republican Party.

“Do not attribute me your mistake. I did not make you participate in this adventure, and then go and kiss in the forehead of the very shrinking donkey from all the herd,” said Sargsyan, whose words leads Sputnik Armenia.

Ex-president believes that people who did not deserve confidence came in the ranks of the ruling then, but after the “velvet revolution” of 2018 they left the parties.

Sargsyan also acknowledged that many mistakes were made during his reign, noting that he did not want to shift them on the shoulders of others.

“During my reign, there were many problems, there was injustice, a high level of corruption, I … was not open enough with the people, I did not pay attention to many internal problems, being engaged in public security issues,” he stressed.

Sargsyan was in the post of chapter of Armenia from 2008 to 2018. In 2015, a new Constitution was adopted in Armenia, according to which Armenia turned from presidential to the parliamentary republic. Although he stated that he would not claim the post of prime minister, but violated his promise in 2018, which led to protests.
