Saudi Arabia called the “irresponsible” actions of the Swedish authorities, allowing the act of desecration of the sacred book for Muslims the Koran in front of the Iraq embassy in Stockholm.
The Foreign Ministry of Saudi Arabia condemned the Swedish authorities for the admission of a repeat of provocative actions against millions of Muslims around the world.
“It is important to take the necessary measures to stop shameful actions that violate all religious values and norms of international law,” the department said.
The Foreign Ministry said that in connection with the act of desecration of the Qur’an, the Swedish authorities will be sent a note.
