Saudi Arabia evacuated 385 people from Sudan

Saudi Arabia evacuated 385 people from Sudan, including 101 citizens of the kingdom.

According to the Foreign Ministry of Saudi Arabia, 10 Saudi citizens and 189 people of various countries were delivered to the Jidda port by sea.

In the meantime, the SAUDO SPA news agency reported that 29 citizens of South Korea were delivered from Sudan to the King Abdullah air base in Gidda.

According to official figures, from April 22, 385 people were evacuated from Sudan.

We are talking about citizens of such countries as the USA, Great Britain, Sweden, Italy, Qatar, Syria, the Netherlands, Iraq, Turkey, Tanzania, Lebanon, Libya and South Korea.

Clashes between the army and the SBR of Sudan

In Hartum and a number of other cities of Sudan in the morning, on Saturday, April 15, armed clashes between the army and SBR.

Disagreements regarding the reform of military security, which provides for the complete integration of the SBR into the armed forces, resulted in a hot conflict between two power structures.

The Foreign Ministry of Sudan reported that the commander of the Republican Army of Sudan Abdelfattah al-Burkhan decided to dissolve the SBR and declared them as rebels.

The UN Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Activities (VSGV) reported that from April 15, 427 people were killed in the capital of Hartan and other cities of Sudan, another 3,700 were injured.

On the eve of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that the parties to the armed conflict in Sudan have reached an agreement on the declaration of a truce.

According to him, the ceasefire will enter into force at midnight Monday and last 72 hours.
