Saudi Arabia invests $ 3 billion in Iraq

The Minister of Investments of Saudi Arabia Khalid al-Falikh announced the creation of a Saudi-Iraqi investment company with a capital of $ 3 billion.

Falikh after the end of the meeting of the Saudi-Iraqi Coordinating Council held in Jidd, gave an interview to the Saudi television channel Al Arabiya.

He announced the creation of a Saudi-Iraqi investment company with a capital of $ 3 billion. According to the minister, the company will soon begin its activities in Iraq and will engage in strategic projects in this country.

Falich added that to support the development and financing of imports and exports between the two countries of the State Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, $ 1.5 billion were allocated.

The minister noted that one billion dollars were allocated for Iraq recovery projects, and another $ 500 million for mutual trade.
