Saudi Arabia announced that she was ready to adopt representatives of the Chairman of the Council on the sovereignty of Sudan and the army commander General Abdulfettach al-Burkhan, as well as the commander of the quick response forces Muhammad Hamdan Dagal.
A written statement by the Saudi Foreign Ministry is reported about the telephone conversation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia Faisal Bin Ferkhan with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
During the conversation, the ministers emphasized that it is important to put an end to violence in Sudan and military tension between the parties.
It is noted that on the initiative of the CSA and Saudi Arabia in Gidd, representatives of the conflicting parties in Sudan were organized in Jidd. This initiative is aimed at “preparing the necessary dialogue site to reduce the level of tension in such a way as to guarantee the safety and stability of Sudan and its people”.
The Al-Arabia television channel reports that representatives of the parties to the conflict have already headed for Jidda.
