Saudi Arabia will allow Hajj on special conditions

Saudi Arabia intends to allow Hadja (pilgrimage to Mecca at a certain time), as well as molar (small pilgrimage to Mecca and other shrines, but not during the Hajj), RBC reports with reference to the Saudi Print Agency.

However, the activities will be held subject to special conditions to combat the coronavirus pandemic.

In the Saudi agency, the Agency says that events related to pilgrimages will be held “in a safe environment”, as the health and safety of the person is put in the kingdom in the first place.

Sanitary authorities of Saudi Arabia continue to evaluate the situation, reports the agency. Details for hazing, as well as measures to control the distribution of COVID-19, will be announced later.
