SBU detained a Russian hacker

Employees of the Cyberdard of Security Service of Ukraine detained a hacker in Kyiv, who specialized in the abduction of information with limited access, circulating in electronic systems of domestic and foreign companies and banks. This was reported by the press service of the SBU.

“To obtain unauthorized access to computer networks, he created specialized malicious software. Then he purposefully distributed it through electronic mails of banks and enterprises and thus gained remote access to their digital systems,” the report said.

The hacker “drained” this information into anonymous Internet platforms that were administered from Russia by representatives of the Russian special services.
