In Tbilisi, the opposition politician Gogi Tsuada was detained, he was accused of violence against a woman, reports Sputnik Georgia with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
The investigation found that the 58-year-old Zada, one of the most active and scandalous opposition politicians in Kutaisi, had physical violence against a 42-year-old woman’s familiar woman in a removable apartment in Tbilisi.
The criminal case was initiated under the article of the Criminal Code of Georgia – violence. Shall be punished with a fine or publicly useful work from 120 to 180 hours, or home arrest from six months to one year, or imprisonment for up to one year with a limitation of rights related to weapons, or without any.
