Scientists said how speed of eating affects life expectancy

The duration of life is influenced by the speed with which we eat, assure Japanese scientists. The results of studies that allowed to make such conclusions published in British Medical Journal.

Volunteers, which unites one disease, insulin dependent diabetes participate in the study of the Japanese. Scientists tested each volunteer at the rate of food. For a long time, observation was carried out, then the data obtained summarized.

Based on the results, scientists came to the conclusion that the slow meal does not contribute to the delay of fat stocks in the body. Those volunteers who absorbed food is not in a hurry, less often suffered from a set of excess weights than those people who eat their food in a few minutes.

Japanese specialists believe that the regulation of food intake speeds can in conjunction with other methods, help people with a tendency to prevent obesity, and, therefore, avoid all the health risks that it entails. And accordingly, it will directly affect the increase in life expectancy.
