The Summit “Central Asia – the Council of Cooperation of the Arab States of the Persian Gulf”, which was supposed to be held on May 5 in Samarkand, was postponed indefinitely.
As Anadol was informed at the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan, the event was postponed by mutual agreement of the parties.
The parties continue to work on determining a new date based on mutual consultations, follows from the message. “The date and other details of the summit will be reported additionally,” the diplomatic mission noted.
The efforts to strengthen dialogue and partnership within the framework of this format of cooperation will continue, the statement said.
It was expected that in the second summit, the leaders of the Five Central Asian countries – Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, as well as the leaders of the six Arabic Gulf states: Saidi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Kuwait, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, as well as the leaders of the Saudi, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan. Bahrain, Oman and Qatar.
The first SSGPZ Central Asia-SSAGPZ summit took place in the city of Gidda in Saudi Arabia in 2023.
