as part of the campaign for the surrender of illegal weapons from May 8 to June 30, Serbia’s security forces were transferred 108,883 weapons, as well as explosives. This was announced by the representative of the Serbian Department for Criminal Investigations of Bozhena Otovich Pyanovich.
“82 398 units are only on weapons. Among the transferred weapons there are licensed weapons. In addition, 26,485 units of explosives were transferred to the law enforcement agencies,” said Dovich Pyanovich.
According to her, more than 4 million rounds were delivered as part of the campaign.
“We are quite satisfied with the results of the initiative implemented,” said the representative of the power department.
