As part of the visit of the Serbia delegation, led by President Aleksandar Vuchic in Baku, the head of Azereneri OJSC Baba Rzayev with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance Serbia Sinishe Mali and minister of mining and energy Dubravka Jedovich.
As the press service of OJSC reported, the meeting noted that the relations of Serbia and Azerbaijan are currently at a high level, and this cooperation has already grown into friendly relations.
The parties informed each other about the energy systems of Azerbaijan and Serbia. The issues of electricity export from Azerbaijan to Serbia were discussed in the near future, participation in energy corridors, which will create the opportunity to enter Azerbaijan to Europe, joint work in the construction project of a power plant in Serbia and creating a joint working group for this purpose.
The meeting noted the role of government agencies and companies working in the field of electric power industry in strengthening business relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia as part of strategic cooperation.
