The Chairman and General Director of the Anadolu (AA), Serdar Karagez, appreciated the work of the Agency during the election of the President and the Turkish Parliament. Serdar Karagez noted: “Anadol’s agency completed his work” excellent “and came out of these elections with his head highly raised.”
Karages on the air of Habertürk answered questions about the activities of the Anadolu agency during the presidential and parliamentary elections of the 28th convocation.
He noted that 2500 AA employees collected information about the site of the election and sent this data to the election center, created in the head office. Karages said that about 300 agency employees after checking this information distributed it for readers.
According to the general director, the system that ensured operational and accuracy was developed by the agency 15 months ago. The agency was preparing for this elections since February 2022. Despite a number of provocations and unreasonable attacks on the part of certain forces, the work is performed at a high level.
Thanks to the coordinated and responsible work of the agency with a 103-year history, the data transfer synchronized with the data of the highest election commission and, as a result, coincided by 100%. The agency fulfilled its task “excellent”, providing all its subscribers and readers with the most accurate data about the election.
“On the days of the elections, our servers were subjected to massive cyber attacks on an unprecedented scale. There were also biased attacks on the details of the agency. Timely measures taken against the spread of misinformation and provocations provided the end result. The agency of Anadol, as always completed their work promptly and accurately, for which I want to express my gratitude to everyone who was involved in this process, ”said Serdar Karagez.
