Sergey Shoigu: Russia has information about Ukrainian trace of organizing terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall

On Wednesday, a telephone conversation was held between Russian defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and the head of the Ministry of Armed Forces of France Sebastien Lekorn.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation noted that Lekorny expressed condolences in connection with the terrorist attack in Crocus on March 22, as a result of which 144 people were killed.

The Minister of Defense of France “persistently tried to convince Ukraine and the Western countries to attack terrorists, shifting responsibility to IG (recognized as terrorist and prohibited in Russia). However, Shoigu said in response that Russia still has such information.

“Ukraine does nothing without the approval of Western curators. We expect that in this case, the French special services do not stand behind this,” said Sergey Shoigu.

On the evening of March 22, unknown men armed with machine guns broke into the Crocus City Hall concert hall in Krasnogorsk near Moscow and opened fire. A fire began in the room. Operational services reported explosions in the building.

As a result of the attack, 144 people were killed. A criminal case has been opened under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (terrorist act).
