Head of the Department of Regulation of Customs Duties and Payments of the State Customs Committee of the Nakhchyansk Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan Mansuru Askurov was charged under article 179.4 (assignment on an especially large amount) of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code.
APA reports that the Sabail District Court examined the petition of the investigator in the criminal case, instituted in the state security service against Mansur Askerov. The petition was satisfied. The court chose a preventive measure in the form of an arrest for a period of 4 months in relation to Mansur Askurov.
It is noted that as a result of the investigation of the criminal case, facts of assignment in an especially large scale were revealed. So, Mansur Askurov is accused of assigning public funds in the amount of 132 million manat, committed by preliminary conspiracy by a group of persons. According to the prosecution, the officials of the State Public School of State, in addition to the general electronic system, where state customs duties are issued, created a system of unofficial second fee for imported imported goods without registration.
