Shahin Mustafaev goes to Iran

On Wednesday, May 18, a delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Azerbaijan Shakhin Mustafaev will visit an official visit to Iran.

According to Haqqin.az, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, the delegation includes representatives of the ministries of energy, high technology and transport, foreign affairs, the State Customs Committee, the State Agency of Azerbaijan Roads, Azerbaijani Railways CJSC and others structures.

, within the framework of the visit, meetings in the Ministry of Roads and Urban Planning of Iran, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the General Staff of the Armed Forces and other structures are planned.

At the meetings, issues will be discussed in the fields of transport and transit, logistics, energy, trade, investment, and other issues. One of the main topics of the discussion will be the implementation of the memorandum of mutual understanding between the governments of Azerbaijan and Iran on the creation of new communication ties between the East Zangesur economic region and the Nakhchyansk Autonomous Republican through the territory of Iran, as well as the role that the implementation of this project will play in ensuring regional development.
