Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and the Minister of Defense of Turkey Hulushi Akar held negotiations by phone. They discussed Ukraine, Syria, bilateral relations and regional security, the press service of the Turkish department reports.
The head of the Turkish defense once again confirmed Ankara’s readiness to comprehensively promote the settlement of the situation in Ukraine diplomatic means.
The ministers noted the importance of interaction to prevent a terrorist threat in Syria and the willingness to comply with all the agreements reached on this issue. In addition, they discussed the implementation of the “product transaction”, which was concluded in Istanbul.
