Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and the chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Iran Mohammad Bageri held negotiations in Tehran.
It is noted that they discussed the situation in Syria, Afghanistan, as well as in Karabakh.
Shoigu suggested in the framework of his visit to discuss a number of topical issues of bilateral military cooperation.
“There are still a lot of issues that have to be discussed today and during tomorrow. These are education issues, and the exchange of experience, and the exchange of delegations, joint naval exercises,” said Shoigu.
