Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoigu called Istanbul the main platform for negotiations between Russia and Ukraine. Shoigu said this at a meeting with the Secretary General of the National Security Council of the Turkish Republic, we have a memorial.
“Istanbul platform becomes the main platform for negotiating in all directions – with regard to the Black Sea and the Black Sea transaction, grain transaction, and now Russian -Ukrainian negotiations,” said Shoigu.
The Secretary of the Council of People’s Commissars of the Russian Federation thanked the Turkish leadership for the provision of the Istanbul site for the Russian-Ukrainian negotiations.
“We know that a lot of efforts were made by Ankara, including in terms of security in order to create optimal conditions for the work of delegations,” he said.
