Minister of Defense Sergey Shoigu inspected the headquarters of the Vostok troops in the zone of a special military operation (as the Russian authorities call the war in Ukraine), the department says.
At the command post, Shoigu heard the reports of the commander of the group, Lieutenant General Rustam Muradov and commanders of associations and formations.
The Ministry also published a video in which Shoigu holds a meeting and gives awards. There is practically no sound on it, documents on the table, as well as the positions and names of the military who reported Shoigu, are shut -on.
It is reported that Lieutenant General Yevgeny Nikiforov came to the video, whom Western intelligence called the new commander of the West forces in Ukraine.
The Ministry of Defense reported several times about Shoigu’s visits, as reported, to the combat zone. On December 18, the ministry published a video in which Shoigu showed the military position of the military on a helicopter. However, as activists later established, in fact, Shoigu was in the occupied Crimea, at a distance of about 80 kilometers from the front line.
