Shusha at first stage will receive 1.5 thousand

In Azerbaijan, the process of returning forced immigrants to the city of Shusha begins, freed from the Armenian occupation during the war of 2020. This was announced by the chief adviser to the special representative office of the President of Azerbaijan in Shush Khanan Guliev at the 66th meeting of the working group on the energy supply of the interdepartmental center in Shusha.

Guliyev noted that in the framework of the program “Great Return”, which provides for the return of former forced immigrants to the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, from August to September 2022, 23 residential buildings for 450 apartments are under construction in Shush.

According to him, the construction of an educational institution, hospital and post office is continuing in the cultural capital of Azerbaijan.

The implementation of all these projects will be completed by the end of this year, after which 1,500 people are planned to be relocated to Shushu, he said.
