Simonyan calls for unification of Russians and Ukrainians

Russian journalist and propagandist, editor -in -chief of MIA “Russia Today” and RT channel Margarita Simonyan called on social networks to unite Russians and Ukrainians.

Simonyan remembered the “general picture of the past”, when the peoples together, celebrate Victory Day, conduct parades, and also teach Russian and Ukrainian languages. In her opinion, “all together, everything is happy, everyone is calm and proud that we are together. There was a great picture. I am sure that in a historical perspective, another option is impossible.”

. ”

Simonyan in the Telegram channel and Twitter made a repost of the report of the journalist of VGTRK Andrei Medvedev. In his channel, Medvedev wrote that “everything was already a hundred years ago”, then it was called the “great retreat” of 1915: “The Russian army left not only from Galicia. It left the territory of the empire itself – Poland and the Baltic states. Moreover, leaving Galicia , the army led another 300 thousand Rusyns, the Russian Galicians. The Denikin units held the bridge along which the refugees were walking. Then there was a 1916th year and Brusilovsky breakthrough. Then there was actually a victory. And from a military point of view there was not a great retreat of disaster . The front line was recorded and that’s all, the war of nerves, economies, ideologies and meanings and ideas went further.

earlier Simonyan spoke of the capture of Ukraine “in two days.”
