Sisters-shouts “threw” veteran of Second Karabakh War

In the Baku Court of Crime, the process in the criminal case of the former chairman of the municipality of the Binagadinsky district Aitaj Aliyeva and her sister Ilknur Aliyeva (Turkut) accused of fraud.

According to haqqın.az, Ali Mokhubi was questioned as a victim. In his testimony, he stated that he had suffered two heart attacks, and the doctors advised him to undergo an operation. Money was needed for surgery in Germany, and for this reason Mokhubi transferred all the gold jewelry belonging to his family worth 67 thousand manats to his neighbor Ilknur Aliyeva, knowing that she was engaged in the trade in jewelry. Ilknur, however, gave him only 8,500 manat, while saying that some problems arose. Mokhubi added that sister Ilknur, Aitaj Aliyev, was not present during the conversation.

Another victim, a participant in the Karabakh war, Tula Tahmazli demanded that Ilknur Aliyeva return his money – she promised to arrange a man to work, took 2 thousand manat from him, but returned only half. Ilknur Aliyeva promised to compensate for the damage.

The trial will continue on October 18th.

Aitaj Aliyev and her sister Ilknur are accused of committing fraud against citizens. In this criminal case, eleven victims are held, the total amount of damage caused to the victims is about one million manat. Sisters were charged under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code. In addition, Aitaj Aliyeva was also found guilty of fake and selling land documents on behalf of the municipality of the Binagadinsky district. Aitaj Aliyeva is under arrest in the pre-trial detention center, Ilknur Aliyev was released from custody and transferred under house arrest some time ago. The sisters did not find themselves guilty of the charges.
