The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan under the leadership of Minister Zakir Hasanov hosted an official meeting.
At the meeting, in which the Minister’s deputy commanders, the commanders of the troops, the chiefs of the main departments, departments and services of the Ministry, as well as the commanders of military associations and formations, took part, was analyzed in detail the current operational situation on the conditional Azerbaijani-Armenian border and the territories of temporary placement Russian peacekeeping contingent. The importance of constant observation and control over the activities of illegal Armenian armed groups in the territories of Azerbaijan, where the Russian peacekeeping contingent was temporarily deployed, was emphasized.
It was noted that the Minister of Defense visited parts of the Air Force, special forces and missile-artillery troops deployed in the southern regions of Azerbaijan, and the divisions of the Commandos, examined the training centers, observed the practical combat training of the units. Operational plans were clarified, specific tasks were set to further increase combat readiness.
reminding the words of the Supreme Commander -in -Chief “No one can speak the language of ultimatum with us,” the minister instructed to pay special attention to the professionalism of personnel and combat training of troops, to increase the intensity of the exercises, including classes in the field. Z. Gasanov noted the importance of close attention to further strengthening of ideological work and moral and psychological support of personnel. The importance of constant monitoring of compliance with safety regulations during combat duty and in everyday official activities was especially noted.
