Sky is closed: ban on flights to south of Russia renewed again

Rosaviatsius extended in the ninth time temporary limitations of flights to the airports of the south and the central part of Russia until April 25, said the press service of the department.

Flights will not be carried out in Anapa airports, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista. For the transport of passengers, it is recommended to use Sochi airports, Volgograd, Mineral Water, Stavropol and Moscow. The remaining airports of Russia, including international, work normally, the report says.

Restrictions on flights within Russia were introduced by Rosavia nationals on February 24, on the day of the beginning of the “military special operation” of Russia in Ukraine. Later they were renewed several times.
