Slovenia will give Ukraine a large number of T-72 tanks

Slovenia intends to convey to Ukraine a large number of T-72 tanks that are in service with the country. In return, she will receive German armored vehicles and the Gaubitsa, reports RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Faz.

According to the information, the German authorities are preparing a deal, according to which Slovenia will supply Ukraine’s T-72 tanks, and instead will receive the Marder infantry and wheeled armored cars FUCHS.

According to the DPA agency, Slovenia also requested more modern technique from Germany, including the LEOPARD 2 combat tanks, the Boxer wheel tank and the PUMA infantry combat machine, which is only adopted in the Bundeswehr. According to open data, 46 T-72 tanks are in service with Slovenia.
