Azerbaijan State University (SOCAR) appointed Rufat Mahmud as the new head of the Russian subsidiary – Sokar Rus LLC, reports Interfax -Azerbaijan.
The former head of the company was Farid Jafarov. He headed the Russian structure of SOCAR since its founding in 2013.
“Sokar Rus” is a 100%”daughter” SOCAR, specializes in oil trade, oil products and petrochemicals in Russia in direct contracts and on exchange platforms.
