Kazakhstan Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov said he had negotiated with the head of the Russian government Mikhail Mishustin on the situation with the Caspian pipeline consortium (KTK).

By the decision of the Primorsky District Court of Novorossiysk dated July 6, 2022, the KTK was to suspend the activities of the sea terminal for 30 days to eliminate the violations identified by the Rostransnadzor.
