In the Baku court for serious crimes, the trial of the 28-year-old resident Baku Talekh Mammadov, accused of causing serious bodily injuries of his own mother, was completed.
According to the correspondent Haqqın.az, the incident occurred on June 22 last year in the Narimanovsky district of Baku. The 57-year-old woman Mammadov hit the neck with a knife. Fortunately, the wounded was taken to the hospital in time, doctors saved her life.
In court, Mammadov said that he had disagreements with his mother from time to time: the woman constantly intervened in his personal life, established various kinds of prohibitions. The accused himself studied in the Czech Republic, then lived and worked in Germany. However, in 2020 it was deported. Later he began to have problems with the psyche: the man was treated for some time in the relevant institutions.
Mammadov’s crime, in his own words, committed his head during a quarrel. He stated that he did not remember the circumstances of what happened at all.
But the forensic psychiatric examination recognized Mamedov as a whole sane. And the court sentenced him to 3 years in prison.
