South Korea prohibits export of strategic materials to Russia

South Korea decided to join international sanctions and prohibit exports to Russia strategic materials due to the situation around Ukraine, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the report of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.

“As sanctions against Russia, our government prohibits exports to Russia of strategic materials, strengthening the export test procedure. With regard to the export control of non-strategic materials, including 57 positions that fall under US sanctions, including semiconductors, computers, sensors, communication, aviation, computers, sensors, communications, aviation and the space industry and others, then the relevant departments of South Korea will consider possible restrictions and in the future will expand the sanctions against Russia, “the department says.
