South Korean Intelligence: About 600 Military DPRK Died In Russian-Ukrainian Conflict In Russian-Ukrainian Conflict

During the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, about 600 North Korean troops were killed, and about 4 thousand were injured. This was reported in the National Intelligence Service of South Korea (NIS).

According to Yonhap, these data were voiced at a closed briefing for the Parliamentary Intelligence Committee.

In the report, information was presented about the losses of the North Korean side at the front.

According to NIS, North Korea sent about 15 thousand military to Russia, while the transfer of the military contingent took place in two stages.

It is noted that at the moment there are no signs of a new wave of the transfer of the North Korean troops.

Previously, the Central Telegraph Agency of Korea (KCNA) with reference to the statement of the Central Military Commission of the country for the first time officially confirmed the sending of the military to Russia.

The message noted that the DPRK leader Kim Jong -un sent troops in order to “help Russia recapture the Kursk region from the Ukrainian army” as part of an agreement signed with Moscow.
