Spaniard sentenced to 15 years in prison for killing his mother and eating her remains, reports BBC.
28-year-old Alberto Sanchez Gomez was arrested in 2019 after the police found part of the body around his mother’s house – some in plastic containers.
Court rejected the arguments of Sanchez that during the murder he had problems with the psyche.
he was also ordered to pay 60,000 euros to his brother in compensation.
Police arrived in the house in the east of Madrid in February 2019 after a friend expressed concern about the well-being of Mary Soledad Gomez.
Sanchez, who was then 26 years old, strangled his mother during the dispute. He then dismembered and ate part of her body over the next two weeks, miles part of his dog.
