The Spanish government said that the largest party of military equipment for Ukraine is on the path to delivery after a ship with 200 tons of materials was moored in Porto in Poland. This is reported by Associated Press.
The Ministry of Defense of Spain confirmed the arrival of the ship to Poland. The ship was moored in the port of Gdynia, where the load would be unloaded and transported about 700 kilometers to the logistics base in Ukraine.
According to the Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sanchez, the party includes 30 trucks, several special heavy transport vehicles and 10 small cars that will be used to deliver military property to Ukraine.
Sanchez announced the sending of the Spanish ship Ysabel last week during a visit to Kyiv.
“This is the largest party, set today, which is more than twice as much as what we have sent so far,” he said.
