Special Forces Of Azerbaijan And UAE Conduct Joint Exercises

In accordance with the bilateral cooperation plan, joint special forces exercises “Enduring Partnership 2025” are being held in Azerbaijan with the participation of units of the Special Forces of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and the Special Operations Command of the Presidential Guard of the United Arab Emirates.

This is stated in a statement from the press service of the Ministry of Defense Azerbaijan.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the exercise, the commander of the Special Forces of Azerbaijan, Alekper Jahangirov, noted that the main goal of the exercise is to expand cooperation between the special forces of both countries, improve practical skills, exchange experience and develop the professionalism of military personnel.

According to the scenarios, adapted to real combat conditions, the exercise participants will practice coordination and management skills.

During tactical actions, participants will improve maneuverability, flexibility and leadership skills, as well as master the forms and methods used by special forces of both countries.

Then, an inspection of the conditions created for the exercise participants was carried out.

In Joint special forces exercises “Enduring Partnership 2025”, which involve armored vehicles, army aviation and unmanned aerial vehicles, units will perform combat training missions in fire training, landing, sniper activity, disabling enemy targets, as well as clearing a populated area from the enemy.
