Jeyhun Bayramov stressed the importance of resolving tensions in the border issue, the need to resolve existing disagreement through negotiations. The head of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry brought to the attention of the opposite side that the Republic of Azerbaijan supports a proposal to create an appropriate trilateral commission for delimitation and border demarcation.
Regarding the six Armenian soldiers detained during the provocation of road mining on the territory of Azerbaijan, it was emphasized that while Azerbaijan neutralizes numerous mines laid by Armenia on liberated areas and represent a direct threat to human life, similar provocations from The Armenian side is not allowed.
