State Duma deputy found under US sanctions in Dubai

98-meter Madame Guy yacht deputy of the State Duma and billionaire Andrei Skotch worth $ 156 million, included in the US sanctions list, was moored in the port of Rashid in Dubai since March 25. Her transponder has been disconnected since the beginning of March, writes Associated Press (AP).

Since the beginning of the war, restrictions against the beast have been introduced by the European Union, Great Britain and other countries. In June, the United States separately included the yacht of the Madame GU deputy to the sanctions list. As the publication notes, this case shows how Russian oligarchs hide their assets in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), despite Western sanctions.

Previously, the yacht was registered on the Kaiman Islands and stood in the port under the flag of the UAE. According to satellite images, since March 25 it is in Dubai, while the transponder to track its location was disconnected on March 6.
