US intentions to keep China and Russia will not lead to success. This was stated by the official representative of the Foreign Ministry Wang Wenbin, commenting on the new US national defense strategy prepared by the Pentagon, reports TASS.
According to Wenbin, the report of the Pentagon is filled with the thinking of the era of the Cold War and the ideology of block confrontation. “China and Russia are large powers. US plans and attempts to restrain us or put pressure are not crowned with success,” he said.
The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry called on the United States to reconsider its crisis obligations in Ukraine, stop creating imaginary opponents and listen to the concerns of other security countries.
