The Foreign Minister of Turkey Mevlut Chavushoglu held telephone negotiations with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg after the statements of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that the country will not say “yes” to the membership of Finland and Sweden in NATO, RIA Novosti reports.
Recall that earlier Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Turkey cannot say “yes” to the membership of Finland and Sweden NATO, since Ankara cannot believe their assurances for relations with representatives of terrorist organizations banned in Turkey.
