“Ukraine must independently decide on joining NATO.” This was stated by the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance Jens Stoltenberg, speaking on the diplomatic forum in Antalya, reports TASS.
He noted that each country has the right to independently make decisions. And in the end, Ukraine will decide to join it to NATO or not.
He explained that the Member States of the Alliance would have to, in turn, to evaluate whether Kyiv was ready to join NATO.
“But this is not the agenda item of the closest future,” he noted.
